A standard installation includes the compliant and successful installation of:
- The hybrid inverter
- The smart meter (CT clamp)
- The battery system, and
- All the wiring into the mains switchboard
It also includes the commissioning of the inverter and battery system and ensuring that you can access your battery via the Vultra app.
Does it include grid back up?
No. If you want to have grid back up installed, this comes at an additional cost ($500) and can be added during the sales journey.
What types of things are considered to be 'non-standard'?
- No free spots on the switchboard - If you do not have any space left on your switchboard, we won't be able to install the battery and smart meter. This will unfortunately require a change to the switchboard.
- Available wall space - If you have solar, ideally we will simply replace your solar inverter with the hybrid inverter, and connect the battery directly beneath it. However, if your solar inverter has been installed in a location that means that we do not have enough clearance to meet with Australian Standards for battery installation, or the wall on which the inverter was installed is deemed to be 'combustible' and therefore does not meet with Australian Standards for battery installation, then we will need to remove the solar inverter and re-route the wiring to another location.
