There are a few reasons that this might have happened, so we'll try to diagnose it below.
It could be:
- Your home wi-fi connection
This is likely the most common cause. If the data logger doesn't have a strong enough wifi signal, it won't be able to communicate with the internet and therefore will not be able to provide data.
- Your mobile phone's internet connection
It could be that you have limited signal meaning the app will likely just be running slowly on your phone.
- A hardware issue
A much less common cause, but there could be an issue with the hardware. This will be harder to diagnose. If you think this is the cause, open a webchat in the app and let us know.
