There are a few ways to make money from your solar and battery energy storage system.
The simplest way is in 'avoided' costs.
Essentially using more of your own energy, and not drawing from the grid. With a battery installed, you consume more of your solar energy, that is freely generated on site.
The other way, is based on export.
You can benefit from time of use export tariffs, or from energy plans that follow the wholesale market - and provide higher than normal value for export at times where the grid needs a little extra power.
